Color My Mo

Welcome to “Color My Mo” day, as part of my Movember 2017 campaign I am experimenting with coloring my mustache based on suggestions from the community. https://stilldaddy.net/movember

As the first week of the campaign came to a close it was time for my first coloring session. Never having dyed my hair … let alone mustache … come along and watch a guy attempt to add some color to his face.

By 2030 we’ll reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25%.

Movember is a awareness and fundraising campaign bringing attention to many of the most critical men’s health issues like prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Starting in 2003, the Movember Foundation as grown to inspire 5-million supporting Mo Bros and Mo Sistas and raise enough money to fund more than 1200 projects spanning the globe.

Join me on my coloring journey and help me, our team (Rad Mo Bros, and the entire Mo Bro community change the face of men’s health … https://stilldaddy.net/movember

Mo Bro time of year

Movember is upon us. Time to start growing that stash once again … if I can. Yet, it is not about being able to grow the Mo. Movember is about Men’s Health awareness, and not just prostate and testicular cancer but also Mental Health and Suicide Prevention.

Last year I had the dreaded exam, and it is about time I called again to setup another physical … so don’t want to. However, it would be the right and safe thing to do.

This year we have the Rad Mo Bro team back together and growing. I have set myself a personal goal of $1500 – though haven’t decided how to top shaving my head from last year. We will have to see. If you have any ideas, please feel free to share.

Episode 5 – Choices

There are many choices we make in life, some big and some small. This past week I received a new toy, and while it was just a toy the decision was not easy. Fist, was it a good choice to buy? Then which option? Yet, beyond the decision of what to buy was how to respond to the purchase. Choosing not to second guess myself I was able to build excitement and anticipation. You control your emotions by choosing your mindset, and thus choosing your attitude and responses.

Words can never adequately convey the incredible impact of our attitudes toward life. The longer I live the more convinced I become that life is 10 percent what happens to us and 90 percent how we respond to it.

    – Charles Swindoll

How you respond is your choice.
